Caitlin Heimerl Allen is an educator, painter, and ceramic artist. She grew up in Topanga Canyon, California and St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration in 2010. She earned a Masters in Art Education from Boston University in 2017 while teaching visual art at Principia Upper School. 

 

Caitlin and her husband Joel are enthusiastic stewards of their half-acre in Maplewood, Missouri and strive to create a welcoming habitat for songbirds and pollinators. You can find her working from her home studio or teaching workshops focused on watercolor, oil painting, drawing and ceramics at the Studio at Bowood
